How do I update my contact information?
You can update the contact information for your account by visiting a branch or logging into online banking or the mobile app.
In the mobile app, go to More and select the tool gear icon in the upper right. Select My Settings and edit your address, phone number, and/or email address.
If you hold a joint account with someone else and you both move to a new location, you both need to update your account information.

How do I order checks?
You can place check orders through third party companies. Upon selecting your check design of choice, you will need to provide your ABA routing number and Account number.
Online and Mobile Banking

How can I register for Online and Mobile Banking?
Online Banking
- Click Register.
- Create a user name and password.
- Enter your first and last name.
- Enter your member number (refer to new account document for this information).
- In the SSN box, enter your full Social Security Number.
- Complete the Form and agree to the Terms & Conditions.
- Click Continue.
- Verify your contact information.
- Choose where you want your verification code to be sent.
- Enter your verification code and Select “Yes, register this computer” if it is a personal computer/device, or select “No, this is a public computer”.
For every new device you use to login, you may have to repeat Steps 4 and 5.
Mobile Banking
- Download the "First Atlantic Mobile Banking" app from the iOS App Store or Google Play.
- Tap "Sign Up" at the bottom left of the screen.
- Enter your member number (without the suffix) and PIN as directed, then tap Continue.
- Enter a username and password, read our terms and conditions, check the corresponding box and tap Continue.
- Tap the Confirm Contact Information button.
- Confirm your identity by selecting "Text me" or "Call me".
- If you chose "Text me", input the code you received via text. If you chose "Call me", answer the call and press 1 to confirm.

What should I do if I'm having technical issues with the mobile app?
For all Mobile app and Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) issues, please ensure that the following basic troubleshooting steps are taken. These steps can resolve many Mobile app and RDC related issues.
- Uninstall/Reinstall App
- Reboot Device
- Close all other Apps

Debit and Credit Cards

I received a call from your Fraud Department regarding my debit or credit card. What do I do?
In order to prevent possible difficulties using your card, please contact Member Care Services at (800) 342-1184.

What do I do if my credit card is lost or stolen?
If your card is lost or stolen and you need emergency cash or a card replacement, contact our Visa Global Customer Care Services at (800) 847-2911.
Loan Payments

How do I make a loan payment?
We offer several different options for you to make a payment on your loan.
*Please note that you cannot make a FAFCU loan payment with another form of a FAFCU loan (ie: credit card).
OPTION 1 – Internal Transfer from a FAFCU Account
- Log into Online or Mobile Banking
- Go to Transfer > Internal Transfer
- Complete the additional required information
OPTION 2 – External Transfer from another Financial Institution
NOTE: This option requires you to connect to your external FI bank account and takes a few days to verify. Two micro-deposits will be sent to your external account, and you will need to verify these amounts through our online banking or mobile app.
- Log into Online or Mobile Banking
- Go to Pay > Make Loan Payment
Account Set-Up - If you need to set up a connection to your external FI bank account:- Under I want to, select Manage External Accounts
- Select +Add an account and complete the information
- Two micro-deposits will be sent to the external account, and you will need to verify these amounts through our online banking
- Once your account has been set up, repeat steps 1 and 2 (except Account Set-Up) and select Pay from bank account
- Complete the required additional information
OPTION 3 – Pay with a Debit Card from another Financial Institution
NOTE: There is a $25 processing fee and a $750 payment limit.
- Log into Online or Mobile Banking
- Go to Pay > Make Loan Payment
- Select Pay by debit card
- Complete the required information
OPTION 4 – Set Up an ACH authorization from another Financial Institution
NOTE: The automatic ACH can be set up as a RECURRING AUTOMATIC ACH or the ACH instructions can be kept on file and utilized to process a one-time ACH from an external bank. There will be a $20.00 fee for each ACH payment request. You will need to call during regular business hours to instruct us to process that one-time ACH.
- Visit FAFCU.com go to Resources > Forms and Disclosures > Automatic Funds Transfer PDF
- Please fill out the form and write the word “VOID” across an unused personal check. Return both the completed signed form and voiced check by creating a PDF document and emailing it to service@fafcu.com OR mail it to our Eatontown location to be processed.
OPTION 5 – Call to Request an Internal Transfer
Call us at 732-380-3600 during business hours and request an internal transfer of funds from an existing FAFCU account.
OPTION 6 – External Bank Bill Pay
Set up a Bill Pay with your external bank. Remember to schedule your payment with your external bank early enough so you do not incur a late charge. Bill Pay requests are usually sent by paper check so please allow time for the mail to deliver the payment to us.
- Log into Online or Mobile Banking
- Go to Pay > Bill Pay
- Type in First Atlantic FCU and select Add
- Enter information and select Add payee
OPTION 7 – Mail a Check
Make a check payable to First Atlantic Federal Credit Union and mail it to:

OPTION 8 – Visit a Branch
Visit a branch to make your payment in person.

How do I pay off my mortgage, home equity loan, or home equity line of credit?
